About Kashif Abbas
Kashif Abbas (Kashi) is a social artist and content creator. Born in Oslo, Norway, he has a law degree from the University of Oslo with a specialization in environmental law and human rights law. He has experience in the legal field as a Legal Advisor for the Norwegian army. On the theme of public engagement in urban spaces, Kashi’s vision of creating experiences around intentional human connections is expressed through the project “Circles of Space”. Here, visitors of public spaces are invited to sit down to silently share a moment of heartfelt and genuine connection. By meeting in a space beyond the sharing of stories, beliefs and ideas, silently recognizing and appreciating one another is used as a container to help create a recognition and bond between strangers otherwise not encouraged in society today. More information can be found on Circles of Space.
